I’m happy to announced that I will be celebrating DDECOMP.com 2nd year anniversary. As part of the celebration I will be changing the look of my technology and computer blog. I will be purchasing new blog design soon because I think I need unique WordPress themes for this technology blog. . For 2 years I think I need to provide more blog post on computer hardware and internet related topics because lately my main focus is about technology related topics and gadget reviews.

So basically that’s the future of this technology blog. Hopefully I could develop this blog into much bigger technology blog. Hopefully I could give a more deeper information regarding technology and gadget reviews. I think after 2 years since I’ve started this blog I still haven’t gave my best in writing technology related topics. But I’m trying my best to improve the content of this blog.

Apple released its thinnest laptop this year. Another innovative technology from Apple has been introduced in the market. I’ve wondered if how the durability of this laptop is. I want to buy this laptop if ever there would be more mac user will switch to MacBook Lite. I’ve already compare prices from different website and I’m thinking of buying online soon.

I’m a Microsoft user but with these innovative technology from Apple encourages me to switch to Apple. My sister was really amazed when I told her that the new MacBook can fit into an envelope. Its size is just like a regular notebook. The only problem that I think I will encounter is I have to bring an external CD drive because I’ve read that it has no built in CD/DVD drives. I’ll read more reviews about the MacBook first and I will tell you my points of view on this laptop. Steve Jobs is making a good job on giving us a innovative technolgy

This is the latest laptop that will soon hit the market and probably get sold out. Asus Eee PC 701 performs the basic functions of a computer and it’s quite cheap that even a regular student can buy. The laptop price starts at $200 and one thing that really caught my sisters eye is because of it’s size. It’s size is 7-inch only that you can carry on all occasion. I’ll probably buy these mini-laptop because I will be using it when I go to school this year. I’m planning to enroll at http://www.iadtschaumburg.com/ to study Visual Communications.

Probably this is the best laptop for student right now. Because students needs only a website that performs basic functions portable, and ofcourse must be cheap price. My sister want me to help her buy that laptop by using my credit card. Unfortunately I cannot help her because I’ve already reached the limit of my credit limit. I’ll see few review first before buying this mini-laptop. I’ll give you an update on this in my future blog post.

The year 2008 is described by Chinese as year of the rats. They have their descriptions of people’s futures as the year comes. The good lucks and the bad lucks. Everyone has their own beliefs, we may not believe them but we should respect anyone’s beliefs. For me, every year means advancement and progress when it comes to technology. Before, we have to go to the library when searching different topics but now we can search it on our own desk by using our computers and browsing the internet.
This morning after I prepared a coffee for my grandmother, an idea entered ny mind about a nursing home that could help me for caring my grandmother. I thought about it and I want to search about it to know more. Knowing that I don’t have to go anywhere just to search about nursing homes, I can take my time joining my grandmother playing video games the whole day and do the searching at night.

I am about to go to the mall yesterday but I decided to postpone it because I can’t find my baseball cap. I am not going out of the house without wearing a cap. My thinning hair is the reason. If only I can find a technology that can help me solve my problem so that I can get my confidence back. Dandruff shampoos for my thinning hair didn’t work. I know that vitamins are the answer for my thinning hair. If only I can discover a hair shampoo with vitamins.
I know that today’s generation is a generation of cellphones and computers. Even the cellphones and computers have their technology updates. Almost every month, they introduce new models. When it comes to my hair, I believe that technology could help. What I only need is a topical application of protein and vitamins into my hair and some stimulants to improve my hair growth which I believe that some shampoos have it. I know that they have discovered it and all I have to do is to search for it.

There is no official way to perform a Rapidshare Search which is something that I do not like that much. There are thankfully other ways to search for files on Rapidshare and I would like to introduce two of them

The first way is to use Google or another search engine and search solely on the Rapidshare domain. You can use the site:rapidshare.com parameter to do that.

A better way would be to use Rapidshare Search Engines that have their own database which is kept up to date by users. Those users report new links and remove old links that have been deleted by Rapidshare. A far better solution to find the files that you are looking for.

Finally another competitive search engine has been launched, ut is called Wikia Search. It was founded by Wikipedia co-founder Jimmy Wales. This is a very promising search engine that I’m looking forward to use in the next 2-3 years. Right now I’m expecting that there will be lot of bugs on the search results. I’m pretty sure that Wikia will soon became the top search engine in the internet. I’ve tested their search engine by searching for schools that offer mba in fraud management because my sister want to attend a school that offers this course. She wants to continue her studies this year that is why she also ask for my help.

I believe that in order to became one of the top search engine in the internet they must know how to fight spam. There are lot of website right now that offers nothing but SPAM. Wikia must hire brilliant search engineer to be able to fight spam. Also they must offer search results that is really relevant to the keywords. As of now I’m not happy with their search results but sooner or later if they will develop their search engine, they will soon became one of the top search engine like Google, Yahoo, and MSN.

If you open the task manager you see lots of processes that are running on your system and it is quite hard to find out why they are running. I’m going to explain two of the processes for you and explain if they are important to run.

The first process is called svchost.exe and it normally is appearing more than once in the task manager. Svchost is responsible for loading services in Windows. You can use a program like Process Explorer to find out which services are running in a certain svchost process.

The second process is ctfmon.exe which is a Windows process for advanced text services and is only useful if you use language schemes, translations, East Asian languages, speech or text recognition and other alternative input technologies.
