Broadband Review
Posted on: October 29th, 2007Are you looking for a good website that can inform you on what broadband packages was the right for your needs? Looking for the most reliable and fastest Internet Service provider in your area? While browsing over the internet while looking for cheapest broadband I’ve found this website that reviews and gives suggestions about what exactly what I’m looking for.
I have experienced lot of bad internet connection in the last few years that made me change my ISP every once in a while. Hopefully I would get the best broadband right now, and I want the cheapest broadband as possible. My sister told me that she wants the fastest and the most reliable internet connection because she’s currently working online as a freelance web developer and she wants to make sure that her business won’t get ruined by bad internet service provider.
THE STRATEGIC SITE MANAGER – Powerful Web Content Management System from BIT Studios
Posted on: October 9th, 2007The Strategic Site Manager (SSM) is BIT Studio’s (Chicago website design, dedicated hosting and .NET programming company) new powerful site management tool.
SSM offers the same functionality found in major Enterprise content management systems, but is laser-focused on the needs of small and medium-sized businesses where the cost of such content management systems wouldn’t be possible.
The Strategic Site Manager enables businesses to manage navigation, content, and growth of their website without any special skills or knowledge of any programming languages, HTML, FTP or any other Web development software.
Hard Disk or Thumb Drive
Posted on: September 16th, 2007Internet Connection Live
Posted on: September 5th, 2007I’m happy to announced that our internet connection was now active. I would like to thank my neighboor Ms Monina Atienza for sharing her internet account to us. Now I can submit my site to a Blog Directory and social bookmarking sites to help my link building campaign and traffic. She will go to US next 2 months and she told us that we can use her internet account because she will not used it in the next 6-12 months. Actually we’ve already applied for an account to the same internet service provider but when the contractor that will installed the internet connection to our home office told us that they cannot get internet signal from their base station. It’s ironic because our neighboor that is 5 meters away from our home can get internet signal from the same base station.
We’re currently using a WIFI connection, and it’s really ironic that the installer of the internet connection cannot established connection to the base station. Fortunately, our neighboor offers their WIFI connection so that we could have something to used. We’ve been in very tough situation lately because of the internet problems were facing. Also, in the last 4-5 days my 2 website is down because of unknown reason. I have to called my host, hostgator because of this using my Skype. Because it’s free to call in the US using a Skype Instant Messenger. I hope we could survive lots of trials and we became more tougher than before.
Adobe Dreamweaver Webmaster’s Solution?
Posted on: August 27th, 2007I’ll review another software, this time Adobe Dreamweaver. I’ve been using Adobe Dreaweaver for 6 years now. I have upgraded my software to Adobe Dreamweaver CS3. The software is composed of new templates in creating a website. The CSS gallery is also nice because they offer lot of new CSS styles that you can integrate to your website. I really love this software simply because of it’s usability and it’s users interface that I can relate. If you want to be a webmaster, you should use Dreamweaver often because it creates lot of useful solution to your website. One thing that I noticed on this software is when I’m browsing a LASIK website, playing a multimedia and using the Dreamweaver simultaenously the speed isn’t decreasing unlike using FrontPage.
Aside from that, Adobe Dreamweaver can be integrated easily to lots of useful Adobe software as well. I think Dreamweaver has it’s edge to it’s competitors. Microsoft Frontpage still needs to be develop more because it is pretty far away from the usability that Dreamweaver can offer. I’ve tried the recent release of FrontPage and I would say that whatever you can do in FrontPage, you can also do it in Dreamweaver. The only difference is Dreamweaver has lots of features and can be use by any newbie to webmasters world.
Windows Vista Experience Update
Posted on: August 27th, 2007I just want to give an update on my recent blog post about Windows Vista. After 5 days of testing the Windows Vista Basic Edition Operating System, I would give you a review on it. For me Windows Vista is one of the operating system that everybody will love once the speed of their PC can accommodate the high memory that Windows Vista consumes. It’s interface are great. You don’t need to be tech geek to be able to run the operating system. Ideal for any ages because of it’s user-friendly interface. I think my PC hangs only when I try to play a media files because it consumes quite high memory. But whenever I visit a site, I don’t experienced problem.
What about the negative feedback on Windows Vista. As I’ve always saying the only negative part of Windows Vista is they consume too much memory on your RAM and Video Card. So try to add more memory to your notebook because they will certainly consumes lot of memory. On the other hand, I think desktop PC can accommodate the memory problem I’ve experienced on my ASUS notebook. I’ll upgrade my memory soon, when that happens I’ll update this blog post and let’s see what happens to my Windows Vista Experience
Next Target: LCD TV
Posted on: August 23rd, 2007On our new home office we’re planning to create a recreational/entertainment room where we could watch movies and play XBOX or PS3. It is our way to relax after a stressful work. I’m looking forward to this setup that is why right now I’m checking few websites that gives honest lcd tv reviews. I would use it as our guide in buying lcd tv. Right now Sony is my first choice because some of my friends told me that their one of the best LCD TV right now in the market. Going back to our recreational/entertainment room, we’re also planning to put some bean bags there and equipped with air-conditioner. Although it’s rainy season right now and the temperature is not that hot.
This is an idea that suddenly flash into my mind. When I share my idea to my friend they agree on my idea and they say that they would like to design the setup of the room. We’re all very excited on it. We will use this room as a place for our visitors. Hopefully we could setup Dolby surround speaker all around the room. I know it’s expensive to do these but the beauty of it will surely benefit everyone because we could reward ourselves when we watch a movie with Dolby surround speakers all around the room.
Windows Vista Experience
Posted on: August 22nd, 2007Just bought my laptop. It’s an ASUS A8FM. And just bought also a Windows Vista. For almost 6 hours now, I can say that Windows Vista rules! But not sure on how long I will be happy with these. So far the interface is quite satisfying. I’ve bought a Windows Vista Basic Edition BTW. The only problem I have is the speed. While browsing an online credit card processing website in my FireFox Browser and simultaneously listening to Windows Media Player 11, I have experienced a bit of slow down. My processor is a Intel Centrino Core 2 Duo which I think one of the best processor right now. I have already a 1GB of DDR2 RAM.
Right now, I would stick on Windows Vista but I’m planning to switch to Windows XP Home Edition if I still experienced this slowness. What I love in my Windows Vista is the sidebar features where you can add different application on it like RSS feeds, Clock, PC temperature and other cool stuff. I would recommend Windows Vista for high power PC but for Pentium 4 processor it’s not recommended. I”ll update this blog on my future experience on my Windows Vista.
